I created this commission piece from a picture of the little Molly and her dad. It was such a special painting to make and I was happy to be involved in capturing this moment. I also learned a lot about light and shadows to create the fabric materials.
I always plan out my paintings by doing a few rough sketches and testing out the colours digitally. This way, I can fully focus on painting once I get to that stage.
