This animation is based on my favourite poem by Emily Dickinson. If you want to find out a little bit more about my process, here is the animatic. I made this animatic, which is an animated storyboard, to help me plan the animation and think about the pacing, the composition and the feelings I want to communicate.
I also made a styleframe and a moodboard to give me an idea of what I want the final animation to look like. I thought carefully about the colour palette and the style so it would best translate the poem into something visual.
